Grupo IMSA founded

Grupo IMSA came into existence in 1936, as a result of the entrepreneurial vision of Roberto L. Garza. It began operations as a small plant galvanizing piece-by-piece using an individual immersion process. However, with the support of Eugenio and Consuelo Clariond, and Fernando Canales Salinas, the company soon took off, beginning this outstanding story of manufacturing and growth in the Mexican steel industry.

IMSALUM: Aluminum products, such as profiles, ladders and windows.

IMSATEC: Steel and plastic construction products, such as insulated steel panel, fiberglass-reinforced plastic panel, steel and plastic strapping, electric transmission and telecommunications towers, and metal poles.
